        Part 1

        Part 1 will review the world of cosmeceuticals. Within this we will explore topicals for supporting the skin barrier as well as a selection of the more popular cosmeceutical actives you will find on the market, including Vitamin A derivatives, Niacinamide, Vitamin C, and panthenol. We will also discuss the processes underlying the photoaging process, and review the world of moisturizers and cleansers. The section will conclude with an exploration of common cosmeceutical actives used in clinical/aesthetic situations, such as dry skin, oily skin, and facial redness.
