Part 2 will open our focus into the role and effects of topicals (cosmeceuticals) in managing acne. This will include exploring common myths surrounding cosmeceuticals and acne; a detailed exploration into the role of the epidermal skin barrier in acne; a review of common and specialty skin cleansing topicals as well as moisturizers; and concludes with a discussion regarding the role of maintaining optimal skin pH.
