Part 3 continues our review of cosmeceuticals for acne, exploring both traditional/established agents used, as well as less common yet emerging cosmeceutical actives, which are often being included in topical products marketed toward acne management. Examples of cosmeceutical ingredients for use towards managing skin oiliness, inflammation, skin sensitivity, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation are reviewed. This section concludes with a look at sample ingredients labels for topical acne products.
